I Am With You
Death is part of life, Dear,
It is nothing we should fear.
The greatest joys have filled
my life,
Being daughter, sister, mother,
wife.
Although the flesh is limited,
The spirit dose permit,
The part of us that’s important,
To continue on a bit.
My spirit lingers always,
In the most wonderful ways.
Our spirit never really dies,
You’ll find it in our families
eyes.
If you pay close attention,
You’ll see me in your reflection.
You will feel me in the gentle
touch,
You give to those who need
it so much.
When living brings you to your
knees,
You’ll see the most of me.
In your strength and fear,
In the gentle hand that wipes
away the tear.
I will glow in the brightest
way,
Wen you love, laugh and play.
So, wipe away the tears for
me,
and smile, I am with you every
day.
In your children’s smiles,
so fare,
We both will go on living there.
In every generation our spirits
stay,
To love and laugh and play.
