Love can be so binding
The air is soft,
The sun is bright,
and everything’s in bloom.
But here I am and there you sit ,
Just staring ‘cross the room.
I reach for you , you pull away,
and so the story goes.
I try to say I love you,
I wonder if it shows.
Please believe me,
I’m crying’ all the time.
I’m tired of being unhappy,
your always on my mind.
I need your shoulder to lean on ,
a place to lay my head.
I try to pull you close to me ,
But I’m much to proud to beg.
Love can be so binding.
Love can be so cruel.
‘specially when you realize,
he’s not in love with you.
