Unsung Hero
In the shadows of the violence,
where they bravely fight,
taken down forever,
in the battle to do right.
The unsung hero’s,
that history will ignore,
their voices clearly said,
we will take not more.
Do you remember them,
their struggle and their pain?
They gave their lives,
with no thought of fame.
There are so many of them,
and I pray for many more,
with the courage and devotion,
to protect the children, they fought for.
