Fudgy Brownies

1/2 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1 /2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease an 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. In a large mixing bowl, combine canola oil and cocoa, stirring until blended. Add sugar and mix well. Add eggs one at a time and beat until smooth. Stir in vanilla, flour and salt. Do not overbeat. Fold in pecans. Spread in prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
