Ernest Frederick Berwick married Lilian Woodford of Northampton in August 1902. At the time of her marriage, Lilian's father Charles was a plasterer, working in the family's building-contractor business. We are able to trace the line back to Joseph Woodford, a tailor in Northampton in the early 1800s.
