Prepare the blown or hard-boiled eggs. They should be
completely dry before starting.
Pour a small amount of white glue into a cup so that it will be
easy to use.
Cut small squares, approximately an inch or so square out of
pieces of tissue paper or scrap fabric. The pieces do not need to be square,
feel free to design your own egg.
Using a paintbrush, spread some glue on the surface of the egg in
an area large enough to put a piece of paper or fabric.
Place the squares onto the egg, pressing them down so that they
are secure. When putting on a second piece, OVERLAP the edges and glue
them down tightly.
Once the entire egg is covered, set on a paper towel or in an egg
carton where the egg can dry. Once dry, take home and enjoy!!!
** Note: Ribbons can be glued onto the egg so that they can be hung as
ornaments around your house.
