Jesus lives in me

Satan had to set me free,
I wouldn't let him torment me,
For Jesus lives inside of me,
And Satan had to flee.

Satan, I know right from wrong,
And I know where my heart belongs,
No harm can come to me as long
As Jesus lives in me.

I know you tried to ruin my life,
And turn my faith around.
You're always there to get someone
Whenever they are down.

The chains of bondage I have shed;
I face my life no more with dread.
I turn to Jesus now instead,
For Jesus lives in me,
And He has set me free.
