I Praise Him
I have woke up in the morning,
high upon the mountain top.
Then the mountain starts to crumble,
and my slide I cannot stop.
So I Praise Him from the valley,
knowing it's the only way.
For God in Heaven only knows
the time I have to stay.
I never ask Him "Why Lord,
have you let this happen to me?"
I only ask Him What is it,
you're wanting me to see?"
I have found that every valley,
has a lesson to be learned
and while I learn the lesson
there is no need for concern.
For you see God loves me,
and I trust Him every day.
He will stay with me and guide me,
as I stumble on my way.
If I continue to Praise Him,
and seek Him in troubled times.
Jesus will lead me to the top,
as I leave my valley behind.
