REFLECTIONS
Reflections of someone who I once knew,
Never again will I see the face that held such memories,
The heart that held such compassion for others,
The sole that supported nothing more than purity itself.
Though someone with such a life of hurt and bitterness,
Never again remains to see life as
though it holds no more than smiles and laughter,
Instead that person looks on life as a punishment,
Rather than a learning process for eternal life.
Reflections of someone who I once knew,
Now remains dormant in the shadows of those
who are yet to see the pain and suffering of others
The shadows of those who close their eyes,
In hope that tomorrow will bring a closing of today.
