Lord, throughout this day, As I try to follow You, Let this be my rule to live by: WHAT WOULD JESUS DO ? When a friend or loved one Asks me for a moment of two, May I think of one thing only: WHAT WOULD JESUS DO ? In all my dealings, help me To be honest, fair and true, To measure each decision by: WHAT WOULD JESUS DO ? When I am feeling troubled And I turn in prayer to You, Give me wisdom to decide: WHAT WOULD JESUS DO ? And let me promise each new day, To live my whole life through In love and peace, remembering: WHAT WOULD JESUS DO ? Then when the day is ended, May I resolve anew To guide tomorrow by the motto: WHAT WOULD JESUS DO ?
I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard, I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word. I didn’t ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn’t mind, I asked Him to send treasures of a far more lasting kind
I asked that He’d be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share the way.
I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.
Meet the millennium with new hope. It’s not over till the angels sing! Look out for computer meltdown. Live, love and laugh ... a lot! Eat much chocolate. Nurture Planet Earth. Nestle all snug with those you love. Inspire a kinder, gentler world. Usher in an era of peace. Make a difference! I SAID A PRAYER OF THANKS FOR YOU to the good Lord up above, to thank Him for the blessing of your kindness and your love. I thanked God for your caring for the happiness you give, for how you make the world a gentler place to live. I thanked Him for the special joy that makes your spirit glow, and how you spread a ray of sunshine everywhere you go. Finally, I prayed to God that all the good you do the way you care, the love you share, would be returned to you.

The Lord is my programmer, I shall not crash. He installed his software on the hard disk of my heart; all of his commands are user-friendly. His directory guides me to the right choices for his name's sake. Even though I scroll through the problems of life, I will fear no bugs, for he is my backup. His password protects me. He prepares a menu before me in the presence of my enemies. His help is only a keystroke away. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and my file will be merged with his and saved forever. Amen |
