Book-it: Thanks for Helping!

Thanks to our parent-teacher-student partnership, our Book-It program was very successful this year. All 28 students read four months out of five, and 15 read all five months. Our children earned a Pizza Hut party and bowling day, held Friday, March 20th, and two free Fort Wayne Wizards tickets. Good job, students!

Field trip reminder:

We have a very busy day on Thursday, April 23rd. In the morning, the students travel to the Embassy Theater to view the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. We return for lunch, then go to McMillen Health Center for health education. Parents are welcome to the McMillen trip, but we won’t have additional tickets for the Philharmonic. Let me know if you would like to attend the McMillen Center trip—your attendance is encouraged.

Finally our last field trip, Wild Nights at the Zoo, will be held Fri., May 15th at 6pm to Sat., May 16th at 9am. Parents are welcome to attend—but reserve your space as soon as possible.

Next publication date:

Next report card will be sent home the week of May 4th. Included will be the last issue of the Refrigerator Magnet for the school year.
