Discipline Plan for 5th Grade--Wyneken Memorial Lutheran School 

Classroom Rules

 

MAIN GOAL: We praise God and serve others in our words and actions. 

1. Follow all teacher directions the first time they are given. 

  1. Be prepared for class by having all materials ready and all homework

completed to the best of your ability.

3. Watch the speaker, be quiet, be still, keep hands free, and listen.

4. Respect the rights and property of others at all times. 

5. Show Christian behavior in all your words and actions.

 

If You Choose to Break a Rule

First time: Name on board. Warning.

Second time: One check. Give up five minutes of one noon recess.

Third time: Two checks. Give up one noon recess.

Fourth time: Three checks. Immediate time out and give up three noon

recesses.

Fifth time: Four checks. One after-school detention, parents notified,

Student Discipline Report Slip issued, and student sent to the office.

Severe: Student immediately sent to the office.

 

Names and checks are erased daily.

Rewards 

Individual rewards: 1. Praise (daily) 2. Stickers/stamps/certificates 

Sharing the good news: 1. Notes/calls home 2. Go to office

Group rewards: 1. Free time/extra recesses/radio, computer or video time

2. Treats/Parties
