Catherine PALMER was born in 1765 and died in 1844. He married Michael LEATHERMAN and gave birth to several childrenamong them Elizabeth "Betsy" LEATHERMAN, who married Jacob CUSTER. This last couple were my gg-grandparents. This is all I know of Catherine except that she was a country doctor, traveling from home to home to treat her patients. She and Michael lived in western PA at one time and may have moved later to the Allen Co, OH area. Also, one of the Leatherman descendants thinks Catherine was born in Maryland. Other sources say PA.
