my son but my hero!! He had a bone marrow transplant in June!! In May
they told us he wouldn't make it and now we are going to have a HUGE
BIRTHDAY BASH FOR HIM!! Please tell everyone!!"

Scott and Denise Frame Harlan are proud to announce the birth of Madeleine Joy Harlan on December 25, 1997. This is what they had to say about the big event!
"It came apon a midnight clear...."
Madeleine weighs in at 6 lbs 14 oz, and is 20" from top to tip. She arrived at
1:22 am, at the North Shore Birth Center in Beverly, Massachusetts. The Harlans
were settled in back at home by noon on Christmas day! She is way cuter than
her parents. Labor was-- well laborious, but mercifully short, with earliest
stages beginning at the Christmas Eve matinee of the movie "A Fairy Tale," and
birth about 12 hours later. Scott was super, and is doing a great job of
assisting in Denise's recovery, as well as the new Dad role. Have we informed
author Madeleine L'Engle that she has a namesake? You bet! Our Madeleine
already has an autographed copy of Anytime Prayers."
