1/2 C. Nuts 1/8 tsp. Salt 1/2 tsp. Vanilla 1/2 C. Sugar 2 Egg whites, beatenChop the nuts very fine. Beat the egg whites until stiff, but not dry. Beat in the sugar, a little at a time. Fold in the vanilla, salt and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased pan. Bake at 275 degrees for 40-60 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen kisses.
3 (3 oz.) Pkgs. vanilla pudding (not instant) 1 1/2 C. Evaporated milk 3/4 C. Peanut butter 3 C. Sugar 3 Tbs. ButterCook and stir to full all over boil. Lower heat and stir constantly until mixture boils for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Beat until thick and loses its gloss. Spread in a buttered 5x9 inch pan.
2 C. Sugar 1/2 C. Water 1/2 C. Light corn syrup 15 drops of your favorite flavoring/extract (oil) Food coloring drops(optional) For example if you are making a peppermint flavored candy, it's nice to use green food coloring with it.Mix sugar, water and corn syrup in a sauce pan on the stove. Cook to 300 degrees. Remove from heat and add the flavoring and food coloring. Pour mixture into a buttered pan (cookie sheet size-you want your candy to be somewhat thin), break up pieces after it has hardened. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
