I live in Boulder, Colorado, U.S.A. (30 miles NE of Denver, Colorado)and have not done a search in the past. I plan to begin my search for relatives beginning with my Grandfather, Carlo who came to the U.S. through Ellis island, New York City, in the early 1900's. He was from Piacenza. My Father, Joseph was born in New York City in 1908 and died in December 1995 at age 87. My Mother was also born in the U.S. Her family name was Furino. I believe Her Mother and their family came to the U.S. from Naples area. My search will begin with genealogical records available through the Mormon Church in the U.S. I hope to learn more as time passes and find my family origins.
