page 61 of records: "upon the complaint of Edward Stockdele against the church wardens for 451 pounds of tabacco dew unto him the last yeare, it is therfor ordered that said church wardens shall pay the said Stockdell the said sume of tabacco and ten in the hundred for the fforbarance which is in all 496 pounds of tabacco."
page 125 of records: "Jan. 2, 1637(1638) it is ordered that Edward Stockdell shall make payment of six hundred Forty and one poundes of tabacco unto William Bradshawe or his assignee viz. at the said Stockdells ould plantation the said debte being due for the wages of a servant hired by the said Stockdell."
page 133 of records: Feb. 12, 1637(1638) "The desposition of Edward Stockdell. This deponent sayeth that the house which hee builte on the plantation which is nowe Samuel Wolls his plantation was twenty five foote longe and sixteene fote wide with one partition one chymneth one Buttery."
page 159: November 26, 1638 "Whereas Mr. John Neale comenct a suyte against Edward Stockdell for five hundred and Fifty poundes of tabaccoe dew by specially, it is therefore ordered that the said Stockdell shall make payment of the foresaid some of tabaccoe within ten dayes unto the said Mr. Neale or his assignes or els execution to be."
