I've also seen *si* when litels are out-sighed.

I'm not sure a dictionary is much help in these matters.
I think you have to shrug your shoulders and develop a
feel as you see which sighs fit you. Perhaps a mirror would
help?

Does anybody know the URL for a sigh dictionary that's on the web?
This is so important somebody must have already studied it in
much detail complete with bibliography.
