What's All the Talk About Jello?

In the past, I've been asked,

"What's going on with all this talk about Jello (tm)?"

I went to Deja News  Power Search and typed

alt.support.dissociation     jello

into the search window.  I choose the options of

• Archive:  complete
• Number of matches:  100.
• Then click on the link for Find.

Deja News found 1800 matches.  I don't think I have time to look at all of them today.

The first post to this famous thread was made on December 24, 1996 with the subject of:  Jello - a question.  For many readers, it was a tough time of the year.  We agreed to support each other with upbuilding messages.

And for all you counters out there, there were approximately 69,000 hits for alt.support.dissociation and 49,000 hits for jello.  When I used the  Quick Search sometimes, it didn't find any matches at all, even if I chose the complete archive option.  You can try it and see what I found.
