Today I went to the store. I remembered to take my planner thingie. It was in my purse, and I got everything on the list (except lightbulbs, of course, because they were on the *other* list, the one I left at home, held up on the refrigerator by a magnet).
I get really mixed up when I go into grocery stores. I don't know if it's the bright lights, or the 33000 choices of items. I go up and down every aisle in the store until I find the first thing on the list, then I go up and down every aisle in the store until I find the second thing on the list, then I go up and down every aisle in the store until I find the third thing on the list....until I finish everything on the list. I only had nine things on the list, and it took me an hour and a half. It's very good exercise.
As I'm doing this, I often add things to the list. *grin* Today _guess_ what I found!
There was a *free* 1998 calendar. The name of it was The Best of Jello, 1998 Recipe Calendar. I was very tickled to see it. Of course, I just *had* to have it. Then I went looking for some Jello (because that was the condition of getting it free). I looked and looked, and in this store there was *no* cherry jello. They had Strawberry Kiwi (~waves~ to Kiwi lovers), but there was no cherry. So I bought three boxes of raspberry jello and a box of lemon jello. No, I'm not going to mix them together. I'm a Jello purist. I like my Jello plain.
I love lemon meringue pie. I make a good one, too. I won a blue ribbon at the fair once with my lemon pie. However, since I'm the only one around to eat the pie if I make one, it's not really a good idea. If I eat more than one piece, I get sick from all the sugar. So that's why I bought the lemon jello. It *almost* tastes like lemon pie. I'm talking about the gelatin Jello, not the pudding Jello.
When I got home from the store, I was very excited because I had some email in my new anon box. It is kind of a klunky and inefficient email box, but I was delighted anyway. When I get a chance, I'll try to acknowledge the emails. Thanks. I really needed to get in touch with ya'll again.
I just wanted to share one of the highlights of my day was finding a Jello calendar. I'm going to hang it right by the computer because when I think of Jello, I think of asd and all of you.
*smile*
