Ashley went for her Make-A-Wish in November of 1999. We chose for her to go at this time because her vision was beginning to decline more rapidly and her kidney function continued to deteriorate. We wanted her to visit Disney World while she could still see well enough to really remember it.

We were picked up in a Casino Magic limo and driven to the airport in New Orleans for our flight to Orlando.

We flew from the New Orleans Airport into Orlando. We were met by a volunteer from the
Make-A-Wish Foundation.
We got a rental car and a map and headed out to
Give Kids the World Village.
This is the most magical place in the entire world! Ashley was made to feel like a princess and she honestly enjoyed in even more than Disney! It is heaven on earth for a kid like her!
