David Rae Boyd (IIB5) was born 6/25/1901 in Ardmore, PA. He attended Lower Merion Highschool and left in his junior year to participate in WWI. He served in the U.S. Army during which time he became a member of the first motor transport division of the Army. He became the youngest veteran in the state of Pennsylvania. He attended the Indiana University School of Medicine Embalming School and graduated in 1921. He married Margaret "Peggy" Simpson. She was born 12/15/1905. He started a funeral home in Rosemont, PA and eventually went to work for the Kogelscharz Funeral Home in Norristown, PA. In 1936 Rae bought out the funeral home and began operating it under the name of Boyd's Funeral Home. In 1968 Rae merged his funeral business with that of Henry H. Horrox creating the Boyd-Horrox Funeral Home. He organized the Bullock Sanderson American Legion Post. He was also a proud member of the Norristown Planning Commission. Rae died 10/27/1984 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Norristown, PA. Services were held at Grace Lutheran Church in Norristown. He was buried at Riverside Cemetery. Peggy last resided in Devon, PA and died 10/2/1996.
Isaac Scott Boyd, III (IIB5a) was born ???. He was buried at St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Ardmore, PA. He was later removed and buried at Riverside Cemetery in Norristown, PA.
Margaret "Peggy" T. Boyd (IIB5b) was born 3/23/1926. She and Kurt Heilbronn were married 6/25/1952. He was born 12/28/1910. Margaret died 4/22/1985 in Blue Bell, PA. Kurt currently lives in Lansdale, PA.
Lisa Mariam Heilbronn (IIB5b1) was born 9/5/1953. She is currently serving as Public Affairs Officer, Public Affairs Section, U.S. Embassy, the Republic of Moldova.
Kurt Heilbronn, Jr. (IIB5b2) was born 6/18/1956. He works for Eastman Kodak Computer and lives in Rochester, NY.
