Pauline Eugenia Gustafson (J1a2f) was born 6/9/1908 in Philadelphia, PA. In 1926, after the death of her sister-in-law, Gladys Gustafson, Pauline moved into her brother's house at 2080 Anchor St. to take care of the house and to care for her niece Gladys Virginia. She and William Henry Shaw were married on 6/29/1929 in northeast Philadelphia. He was born 2/17/1901 in Philadelphia, PA. After they married they continued to live with her brother Carl. During the Depression, Pauline Eugenia worked in a tannery. Around 1938, Pauline, Bill and Marie left Carl's house and rented a house on Benner St., across the street from her sister, Esther. William died 2/3/1974 on Ditman St. in Philadelphia. His funeral was from the Hope Lutheran Church. He was buried 2/6/1974 at Forest Hills Cemetery, Summerton, PA. The arrangements were by the Robinson Funeral Home, northeast Philadelphia. Pauline currently lives in Philadelphia, PA.
