Eli married Elizabeth Wells ca. 1795 and Sarah Crommell in 1817. He had at least six children according to The Heritage of Yadkin Co., I have found the following:

1. Elizabeth, b. ca 1817-19 , md. George Washington Greenwood.  I don't know if Elizabeth or Sarah is the mother of my husbands ancestor Elizabeth, she gives a different age for every census
