These are Ginger and Sporty.

They are about 2 1/2 months old here. They were born Sept. 28th 1998. The black one is Sporty and the other one is Ginger. We lost a dog over a year ago and we finally decided we were ready for another dog. So we looked in the newspaper and after about a month, we saw an ad for half lab puppies for $35. I asked my husband to call and find out what color.
They said they had a black and white female and I said hold it we'll take her.
When we got there I spotted her right away and my daughter spotted Sporty. I thought it was going to be a tough to decide, but the guy said if you promise to give them a good home, take two for the price of one!
So that's how we ended up with two pups!

Knowing I have a daughter, you can guess why they were named Ginger and Sporty!
