Dennis Campos is recovering from his surgery incredibly well, and has gone back to his job at a tire company after only a week. He rushed back to help his boss's wife run the business, and because he was getting restless hanging around the house. Good luck Dennis, and we all hope your recovery goes well for you !! In other news, Dennis' wife, Meli , is starting a computer class soon. She is very nervous about going back to school.(Christina says: Well, if it makes you feel better Meli, the worst part about going back to school is waking up before noon.) We wish you both the best of luck!!
A NEW TWIG ON THE FAMILY TREE
Cathy Long, daughter of Gloria Woodard, and granddaughter of Manuel and Carolina Campos gave birth to a baby girl on July 27th. This is Cathy's first baby. We all send our best to the new family!

Paula Garcia , daughter of July Garcia has announced that she is expecting a baby in November 1997. This will be Paula's second child. Her son Erik is six years old. Great news!
A JOB WELL DONE
Tiffany Orona, daughter of David and Mary Jane Orona and granddaughter of Connie and Joe Orona won first runner up in the 1997 High Plains Junior Rodeo held in July. She was given a bouquet of red roses and stirrup shaped earrings for her prize. Excellent job! Not bad for her first try!
