Busy, Busy, Busy,

Yup, that's how it is when you are raising silkies.Trip to the park early morning and another in the evening. They are starting to spin now. The first ones started on the 12th. I haven't counted them yet but there are a lot. I ran out of tubes for them to spin in so I got poster paper and cut it into strips and made tubes for them.
The "imports" have all hatched and they are already in their 2ed instar.
Some of the cocoons are a nice gold color. I was very surprised about that.
I hope they hatch so I can get eggs from them.
Time to feed them again.
