Cossey Cousins & Kin

Welcome! Add ONE MILLION and You are the Counterth cousin to find us.
This site is dedicated to COSSEY contacts, contributors, and Cossey Family Information. Tami Ibarra's site will hold our queries page and stories. If anyone knows how to set up a queries page (with forms) we'd be glad to learn how. Hoping to get an electronic journal on the COSSEY CLAN, so we'd welcome information. Tami's site is also a possible posting place for family lines, until they are added to the database.
Check out our GenMaster site to find links and search for you and your family. A good idea, is to search for unusual names in your family. There is then a better chance for finding your line. All Cossey names that have been placed under the basename are those that can't tie into a family line yet. There are over 1,000+ Cossey family pages. If you can't find your family, then we don't have it, and would love to get it.
To add to our database, send your family information to Debbie Cossey Wasserburger and she will get it added to the family database and on the web as soon as possible.
Visit here to see The Cossey Family Association Webpage we have put together and some of our links to other Cossey Webpages and genealogy links.
Here is a form to print a blank family page as a guide, for gathering your family information. Browse Debbies' family group sheet to see how the information will be posted.
Tabitha Cossey has found us and is sending her family information to keep it updated. Another contact is Clyde and Holly Cossey. They follow their line back to Hardin County, Tennessee also, and we are trying to tie them in with our main line there. Clyde has found new information on Cossey spelling varients as early as the 1600's in the USA!!
Debbie has visited in Hardin County, Tennessee with Alice Cossey Albright and her family from Oklahoma, and Alices' cousin, James "ED" Cossey, Pastor in Loxley, AL. Also, Clyde Cossey from Arkansas, Lamar Cossey from Texas, and his cousins Len & Wanda (Cossey) Thompson from California have visited different years at the Cossey Reunion. Debbie enjoyed having them there and hope they can come again. Debbie would like everyone who knew Len Thompson who did his wife's COSSEY research, to know that Len passed away in July 2003 and continued his research until the end. There are plans to continue his research for him.

Alice and Ed's family is from Frederick Cossey b. 1829 in Tennessee. We hope to connect this family line together with ours also. Coming soon will be links to COSSEY addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses found on the internet for COSSEY names in the USA. We'll connect them to names in the database as we can and get a separate page for them also.

Tami Ibarra is updating her information, and with a new addition of a website with her as co-author we should have more space for information. She has the Cossey/Chrisco Connection and we hope you visit her and maybe drop her a line.
We're glad you got here and look forward to your visiting agin. This website is a part of the "GenMaster" Series, and changing as we find new COSSEY information, so visit back often. This is a continuning area for COSSEY genealogical research.
Visit Debbie's homepage or drop her a line.
