Pygmy goats at Farnuff Farms
We got our first pygmy goats when we were living in Arizona. I fell in love with their playful independence. We are currently milking two of the does and find the milk delicious and better for things like yogurt than the dairy goats milk is-it's so rich. For a good fudge recipe using goats milk, check out
this site.
We moved and needed to reduce our herd, so I haves sold all of my goats.I really miss them so have their pictures here to enjoy them. Kira Sue had a doe, named
Farnuff Farms Power Puff
(click on her pic to see it enlarged) and Black Star had a buck, that has been wethered.

Goats also really don't like to be led and sometimes they object by just laying down, like this one.
I have been on the goatslite e-mail list for a while now and just love it. There is a real sense of family there and a lot of helpful, well goat educated people. Any questions are gladly answered. There is also a list for just pygmy goats that I enjoy also.
A couple of my favorite goat sites are
