This is Lady at twelve years old. She was a loyal companion and is greatly missed. She earned her CD. many
years ago and could have gone on to do more but she was the first one that I trained and I promised her she would never have to do anything else if we could just get through the CD trials.
I kept my word to her. It was through no fault of hers but through mine, as I took her to a school that we did a lot of "pop
the leash" training. This I learned is not the correct way to train a collie.
I thought I was teaching her and here it turns out she taught me!
This is only one of the many things I learned from her.
I hope she has forgiven me my ignorance.
The photo above is of him when he was about five months old. He's getting ready to be groomed and get the mud wiped off his nose. He just loved playing in mud puddles. He was probably trying to play with the bugs in there!
Below is another photo of LB. This one was taken the day we lost him. We lost LB due to a tragic accident.
I will never forget his smiling face and all the pleasure he brought to us.
Please forgive us LB, and keep Lady company at the rainbow bridge until we get there.
