A little update from the Hive
Just a little update of the goings on in our busy little
hive
- 8/12/97 Well we are finally getting around
to updating our site a bit. The big news this week is that the baby
dropped this weekend. This has made Julie very happy. She can
move again. Julie is gearing up for the fair and Mike is getting ready
to begin year 2 of law school. The fair starts the 21st and school the 25th.
Mike's little brother, Steve has been prometed to Staff Sergeant in
the Air Force and will spending a couple of weeks in Africa this summer.
Drop him and Diane a line at

- 8/15/97 Our First Nasturtium bloomed this week. Julie is so excited, even though they are two month behind because she didn't start them until the 6th of June. Also blooming area our cosmos, astilbe, delphinium, zinnias, celosia and the candle flowers: pansies and jonny-jump-ups (not to be confused with jonny-jump-down). Mike's Roma tomatoes doing fine, despite their untimely assault from the lawn mower. Since Julie has been home she has taken up cooking again. She has made banana bread, and fried wontons (they were great!). Lia leaves for college soon. She moves into the dorms in Duluth on the 5th of September and classes start soon after. We will post her email address as soon as we have it.
- 8/28/97 Well the state fair is half over and Mike's first week of law school is about over. We are busy! The baby is due any minute. Julie is doing OK, but she is ready for this baby to come on out. Our garden is doing great with Morning Glories, Nastursiums(sp?) blooming and tomatoes all over the place. We do get to see it as we go on our appointed rounds. Please keep good thoughts going for Julie and the Bumble-bee as they get ready for their big adventure here soon. We will try to keep this site updated but understand if we slip a little.
