Charles "Chip" Jorgensen
I only knew Chip for a short while. His life was cut short by Hodgkin's
Disease before his 28th birthday, but his humor and love of life touched all
who knew him. He was a mechanic's mechanic, able to lay his hands on any
automotive problem and solve it with a magic touch. He was a devoted father
who saw "Little Chip" as the center of his universe. And he was a good friend,
always there when you needed him, ready to share a brewski and listen to your
problems. Some time, when you are out with your good friends sharing a fine
time over a drink or two, please do as I often do and raise this simple toast:
"To Chip, and to all good friends everywhere".
Many thanks to Sandra Burke from Kansas for these moving renditions of my photos of Chip. She has truly captured his Spirit.
