Hi Everyone! |

Our latest
out-of-town adventure took us to the Houston Zoo. We had a lot of fun this year! Everyone was able to walk and not get too
tired! Here we are with the seal. The seals were Lois’ favorite part. |
Throughout
the zoo, we were explorers. We all
took turns crossing the bridge through the jungle! |

We have ducks in the pond at our park at home, but it was nice to take
a break and watch the ducks at the zoo!
At home we are usually “attacked” by the ducks wanting bread! These
ducks just enjoyed us watching them. |

Our adventure
continued as we found our way to the rainforest… We had a lot of fun eating at the Rainforest Café! The first thing we had to do before we sat
down was to take a tour of the rainforest.
There were animals everywhere!
We sat under the stars near a big butterfly. Every now and then we even got to see a
shooting star! |

Look at us! We’re
just like Mary Poppins! I hope the ponies become real! This was our last stop for the day. We’re not sure how it tied into the jungle
explorers, but we sure did have fun! |

Our adventures
don’t have to be too far from home for four little girls (that includes our
cousin Briana) to have a lot of fun. We can be transformed to Princesses,
dinosaurs and cowboys in our very own living room! Why,
we can even go to McDonalds in our kitchen! |
LOIS: “Welcome to McDonalds! May I take your order?” EMILY: “I’ll have some chicken nuggets, French
fries, hamburger, a chocolate sundae and a strawberry sundae.” LOIS: “Here’s your order. Enjoy!” EMILY: “Who wants to share my food? I ordered plenty!” |

Ruth
is fast becoming the newest chef in the family. We all have our own aprons. Ruth must put her red apron on anytime that
Mommy wears hers. Of course, you don’t
notice it here, but anytime we help Mommy cook or bake we have to have chocolate
chips (even if we’re not making cookies).
It’s a tradition!!! |
Daddy is excited, too! Not only do we girls enjoy helping Mommy,
but we also like to help Daddy with the gardening! “We’re trying to help the daisies grow!” |

This picture is
a little out of date… But we like it
because we had just gotten our new rubber boots! We love helping Granny and Grandpa feed the
calves when we get to go for a visit! |
******* And this one must
be included, because we are actually getting * to see it snow! For a whole 5 minutes this past winter!!! *
Mommy just happened to be looking out the window to see it in time, or we might
never have known! **
We think Mommy must be a meteorologist in disguise. ***** ***
