I John Little do hereby make application to the Commissioner of Pensions for a pension to be granted me under the Act passed by the 33rd Legislature of the State of Texas, and approved April 7, 1913, on the following grounds:
I enlisted and served in the military service of the Confederate States during the war between the States of the United States, and that I did not desert the Confederate service, but during said war I was loyal and true to my duty, and never at any time voluntarily abandoned my post of duty in the said service. That I was honorably discharged or surrendered I was parolled at Vicksburg, Miss at the fall of Vicksburg as I remember on July 4 -1863-Was captured at Ft-Donaldson; Kept prisoner about 7 months when I was removed from at Camp Morton, Ind to Vicksburg & exchanged
that I have been a bona fide citizen of this State since prior to January 1, A.D. 1900, and have been continously since a citizen of the State of Texas. I do futher state that I do not hold any National, State, city or county office which pays me a salary or fees of $300.00 per annum, nor have I an income from any other employment or other sources whatever which amounts to $300.00 per annum, nor do I recieve from any source whatever money or does any one hold intrust for my benefit or use, nor does my wife own, nor does any one hold intrust fro my wife, estate or property, either real, personal or mixed, either in fee or for life, of the assessed value over one thousand dollars, exclusive of a home of the value of not more than $1000.00; nor do I recieve any aid or pension from any other State, or from the United States, or from any other source, and that I am not an inmate of the Confederate Home, and I do futher State the answers given to the following questions are true:
1. What is your age? 73 on Nov 18th last
2. Where were you born? In Lincoln County Tenn.
3. How long have you resided in Texas? Since in 1884
4. In what county do you reside? In Red River
5. How long have you resided in said county and what is your postoffice address? Since 1889 Annorra
6. Have you applied for a pension under the Confederate pension law and been rejected? If rejected state when and where No
7. What is your occupation, if able to engage in one? Farmer Not able now
8. In what State was the command in which you served organized? Tenn.
9. How long did you serve? Give, if possible, the date of enlistment and discharge From Nov. 1861 (?) until Vicksburg fell
10. What was the letter of your company, number of battalion, regiment or battery? Company A. 41st Tenn. After I was exchanged I became a teamster of General Tillman & so served until parolled as aforsaid.
11. If transfered from one command to another, give time of transfer, name of command and time of service Not transfered- See explanation about answer above
12. What branch of the service did you enlist in-infantry, calvary, artillery or navy? Co. A. 41st Tenn. was Infantry- I was teamster after exchange driving one of Gen. Tillman's Head Quarter wagons
13. If commisioned direct by the President, what was your rank and line of duty? No
14. If detailed for special service, under the law of conseription, what was the nature of your service and how long did you serve? No
15. Have you transfered to others any property of any kind for the purpose of becoming a benificiary under this law? No
Wherefore your petitioner prays that his application for pension be approved and such other proceedings be had in the premises as are required by law.

I M. C. Little do hereby make application to the Com-
missioner of Pensions for a pension, to be granted me under the Act passed by the Thirty-first Legislature of the State of Texas, and approved April 7, A.D. 1913, on the following grounds:
I am the widow of John Little, deceased, who parted this life on the 15th day of Sept A.D. 1915, in the county of Red River, in the State of Texas.
I have not remarried since the death of my said husband, and I do solemnly swear that I was never divorced from my said husband, and that I never voluntarily abandoned him during his life, but remained his true, faithful and lawful wife up to the date of his death. I was married to him on the 13th day Feb A. D. 1858, in the county of Lincoln, in the State of Tenn.
My husband, the said John Little, enlisted and served in the military service of the Confederate States during the war between the Sates of the United States, and that he did not desert the Confederate Service. I have been a resident of the State of Texas since prior ro January 1, A.D. 1900, and have been continuously since a citizen of the State of Texas. I do further state that I do not recieve from any source whatever money or other means of support amounting in value to the sum of $300.00 per annum, nor do I own in my own right, nor does anyone hold in trust for my benefit or use, estate or property, either real, personal or mixed, either in fee or for life, of the value of one thousand dollars, exclusive of the home of the value of not over 1,000.00; nor do I recieve any aid or pension from any other State, or from the United States, or from any other source, and I do further state that the answers given to the following questions are true:
1. What is your age? 75 years
2. Where were you born? In Lincoln Co. Texas
3. How ling have you resided in the Sate of Texas? Since about 1876
4. How long have you resided in the county of your present residence? And what is your postoffice address? Since about the year 1876 Annorra Tex.
5. What was your husbands full name? John Little
6. What was the date of his death? See above
7. In what State was your husband's command originally organized Tennessee
8. How long did your husband serve? If known to you, give date of enlistment and discharge See No. 26137
9. What was the name or letter of the company, or name or number of the battalion, regiment or battery of artillery in which your husband served? If he was transferred from one branch of service to another, give time of transfer, description of command and time of service See No. 26137
10.
