Smiley was the first in his litter to finish. He gathered all but his last major during the month of March 1996 and then took a break and came back to pick up his last major in June. He is owned by Dr. Clyde and Barbara Shaw of Our Gang Cockers who also own and bred his sire. His sire was also Winner's Dog at the National Specialty in 1989.
