Soldier's Lot, West Burying Ground
West Burying Ground Inscriptions:
This is the earliest of the burial places in Litchfield, and its establishment was nearly contemporaneous with the founding of the Town. Nearly all of the Litchfield Pioneers are buried here and the yard remained the principal burial ground of the Town until the Revolution.
