Cragg Bastin was a son of Joseph Henry and Sarah Parish (Turner) Bastin, and was a grandson of Thomas 'Tommie' Bastin, III and Louanna (Shofner) Bastin. Cragg was born in Metcalfe Co, KY on 30 May 1873. On 28 December 1899 at the age of 26, he married Cora E. Matthews. Cragg died in Hart County, KY on 10 December 1962 at age 89. Cora was born on 08 Jan 1874 and died in Hart County, KY on 20 May 1955 at the age of 80.
