Thomas Bastin, Jr (son of Thomas and Hannah Bastin of Caswell County, NC) was born 06 Feb 1783 in Caswell County, NC. He married Mary W. Atwell there, and they migrated, along with their children (and their families) to (then) east Barren County, KY in about 1830. Thomas Bastin, Jr. died in 1858, and was buried at a cemetary on what is now the Metcalfe and Green County line. (Metcalfe County was formed from parts of E Barren, W Adair, and SW Green counties in 1860.)
