~All About Us!~
So...I guess the next thing I need to do with my Homepage is to tell all of you alittle about myself...now try to stay awake back there!
Ahem.....HMMMmmmm....where to start! My daughters and I live in Kingston, Ontario. Sara, my oldest, is 15 and is going into Grade 10 at Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School. She loves to draw and her favorite subject at school is Band. She started playing a Trombone last year and over the summer has been taking lessons to improve her playing. She wants to join the 'Jazz Band' in Grade 11. . . now that she actually can play music, it's not half bad!
Morgan, my youngest, is 12 and is going into Grade 8 at John XXIII Catholic School. She is turning into a total 'Diva' and often gives me one of her 'all that and a bag of chips' looks, when dear ole' Mom has said or done something she considers stupid! Morgan's teachers still describe her as vivacious, so I guess I will just have to get used to it! (The first time was kind of a shock. . . NOT!)
Well...so far so good...I have avoided talking about myself! But I guess it is time to pay the piper. I wear many different hats..I do, I do! I'm a Mother, Friend, Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Niece, Employee, Volunteer and Computer Nut! I like to sew, cook (don't confuse that with baking, cause I HATE BAKING!), do crafts, grow herbs (I haven't done that this year), watch movies, make jewellery, listen to music and go for long meandering walks. I work as a Production Planner/Scheduler in a Manufacturing Plant (in the office mostly, but do spend a fair bit of time on the Plant Floor) I'm 42 years old...and somedays I feel every one of them. I also have Addison's Disease, it's an obscure disease that 6 in 100,000 people suffer from. I know I have other interests but for some reason I really can't seem to think of what they might be, so now that I really can't think of anything else to say...I'll stop talking about me! (Whew...gosh that was hard! Did I distract you with enough links?).
I guess I should also mention the four other personalities that live under our roof...That would be Jiggs and Jocko, Ms. Toes (Misty for short!) and our latest addition Fender. The first two are 18 years old. People often wonder when visiting for the first time, how the CAT gets around so fast, and it isn't until they see both of the older cats together, that they realize there are two! Both are Grey/White Ragdolls, and they have to be the most wonderful cats to have when you have children in the house. I don't think I could sleep at night without having Jiggs cuddle up on my feet and Jocko purring me to sleep when he settles on the pillow beside me. Sadly Jiggs is not well, the Vet has told me that I will only have him for another year, as his kidneys are failing. He is not in any pain, so I will put off, putting him down because it will break my heart when he goes. Misty is a 5 year old white, multi-toed cat we adopted and last but not least, Fender is a 4 year old black (who came out of my neighbors bumper after a harrowing ride on the 401 for an hour - hence the name)we also took in. Now we have two more that love to play (usually at about 4:00 AM!!!!)
