THOMSEN Surname Index (does not include surnames of living individuals)
Descendants of Johann Carl and Maria (Erichsen) Thomsen of Dollerupholz, Schleswig- Holstein, Germany. Ethnically, they are Danish. Both were born circa 1821 and immigrated to the U.S. with their youngest children circa 1879. Their elder children arrived in the States in the early 1870's and made their home in the general vicinity of Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California in the early 1870's. Johann died in Healdsburg in 1897; his wife passed away two years later. Both are buried in Oak Mound Cemetery in Healdsburg.
