The meeting was declared open at 7.41pm

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and they were moved as being correct by Ron Melbourne and 2nd by Lindsay Emerton

TREASURERS REPORT:-
Eddie Ryan reported that the Bank Statement had an opening balance of $245.57 with income of $392.05 and expenditure of $286.78. The closing balance of the account has funds of $350.84 with outstanding accounts of $ 5.00 for the Hall and $18.00 for James Smith. The treasurers report moved as correct and the outstanding accounts moved for payment by Noel Handsaker & 2nd by Keith Terry
YOUNG BIRD SHOW FIGURES
Costs Incurred in running and setting up the event $217.10
Income from entries, raffle, sale of food and drink $222.50
Profit for the event $ 5.40
GENERAL BUSINESS:-
Young Bird Show
Price on Steak Samboss or Sausage Sandwiches to be increased for our next show.
Desks to be placed at side of judging stands next time for the specials winners.
Show Schedule - AOSV Opalines to be added.
Motion:-Moved by Lindsay Emerton that we combine our Young Bird Show with our Annual Show on the first weekend in September. No seconders. Motion dead.
Motion:-Moved by Keith Terry that the Young Bird Show in September be left as it is and that the Annual Show be held in April 1 Week before Easter. The motion was seconded by Noel Handsaker. The motion was carried with a vote of seven for with 3 members not voting.
Secretary to write to G Cob, Vetafarm, etc seeking sponsorship for our shows.
Brian Thompson offered to donate Young Bird Show Trophies for the next show as well..Thank you Brian.
Noel Handsaker offered to donate The Young Bird Trophy for Best Cock for our Annual Show......Eddie Ryan to donate Replica.
Keith Terry offered to donate The Young Bird Trophy for Best Hen for our Annual show.......our thanks to the above two members as well.
Judges for Annual
Letters to be send to Ross Cooper and Gary Gazzard asking for there acceptance to judge at our event.
Report on Newcastle Young Bird Show by Eddie Ryan - 5 protests.
Motion:-James Nairn moved a motion that the table shows be judged to the Standard of Perfection as per Condition and all judging guidlines. The motion was seconded by Noel Handsaker and carried Unanimously.
The meeting was closed at 9.25pm
