Robert Kennedy has recently written, and he has been pastoring in the Foursquare church since 1972, and is currently the senior pastor of the Foursquare Church at Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Throughout the years, he has served as one of the chaplains in two correctional facilities, taught in W. Africa and done evangelistic work in the U.S. (thank you for the update, Robert).
Ernest Smith, Jr. just recently sent us a letter, telling us of what he and his family have been up to for the past 29 or so years -- among other things, they have been pastoring a church in Lost Creek, W. Va., and are preparing to send their youngest daughter to Bible School. They are currently praying about beginning a new ministry, so pray with them (thanks for the update, Ernie).
I just recently recalled Charlie Robinson’s name, while filing charts in the doctor’s office where I worked (4/23/99). While filing a chart, I noticed it had the name, Charles Robinson on it, and immediately I remembered “Charlie” (not the same one, though) -- I have remembered names in the strangest of ways...this is just one of them. And, of course, others have also helped me to recall names.
George Welch’s wife, Gladys (Row 1a), went Home to be with the Lord on Aug.8,1988; George married Ruth Shaw in 1990, and she went Home to the Lord in 1999. In 1997, he published his book, “Memories of a Sky Pilot”, which tells of him and his wife’s (Gladys) life in missions. We’ve read the book...and it is excellent -- all first-year Bible school students should read such a book, just to see how very “difficult” it truly was many years ago. Here is a printed, online version of a radio sermon, “ Marks of a Christian”, (taken from the aforementioned book). We also have his address, if you’d like a copy of the book ($12, total cost, includes S&H). He now lives in Chicago, Illinois, near his daughter, Grace.

Allan Gernhardt’s wife may be pictured, but I simply cannot recall her face...(sorry)
Charles Duncombe’s Homegoing was either in 1983 or ’84. If you know any of the details, please let me know.
Brother Lindsay went Home to be with the Lord on April 1, 1973, while Sister Lindsay read the announcements during that Sunday service at CFNI. Brother Lindsay simply and quietly “fell asleep in the Lord” behind her, moving on to his eternal reward.
Eston (Buddy) Turner’s wife, Pat, was not pictured, and I believe they’re now living in Fairfield, TX, where they were pastoring a church.
