EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

1998-present Maunsell McIntyre Pty Ltd
Recent projects include:
Gawler Craton Advanced Infrastructure Planning Study
Pedestrian Network Strategy for Adelaide City Council
Customer Reaction to Treatments of Overtaking Lanes
Innovative Pedestrian Crossing Protection Devices
Review of In-service Vehicle Emission Programs

1996-1998 Institute of Transportation Studies, University of California, Davis
Project: "Identification and Prioritization of Environmentally Beneficial Intelligent Transportation Technologies".
Troy Young was primarily responsible for the data collection and manipulation, simulation modelling, and analysis of modeling results to determine the environmental impacts of a range of ITS technologies currently implemented or expected to be deployed in the next 10 years.

1995-1997 Institute of Transportation Studies, University of California, Davis
Project: "A Protocol for Developing Representative Facility-Type Driving Cycles".
Mr. Young served as the lead engineer of the ITS-Davis team for this project that worked closely with the California Department of Transportation and included subcontracts with Georgia Tech, San Jose State University and the California Polytechnic Institute. Troy was responsible for organizing and coordinating field work throughout the state, managing the data base of data and results, developing data collection methodologies and analysis techniques, and analyzing data for the development of models and the protocol.

1995 Institute of Transportation Studies, University of California, Davis
Project: "A Protocol for Project-Level Assessment of Carbon Monoxide Emissions".
Troy Young was involved with the development of a screening procedure for application by local government bodies to determine if a transportation project was likely to result in high CO emissions, and therefore required to undergo a stringent CO analysis to quantify that impact.
