The Love Offering

The next-door-neighbor at Sto. Domingo constantly knocked on Cob's door complaining of the barks and howls the dogs were making.  There was an ailing old man in his death bed terrified of the eerie sound the dogs make late at night.  One fine Tuesday morning back in 1995, with newspaper at hand she went to see a lot in Guiguinto, Bulacan advertised for sale.

For 3 years, ASO CASA remained much the way it was with just minor revisions of runs made out of bamboo sticks.  In 1998, spending time with Remy in Canada brought the two close as ever living next to each other with just the connecting bathrooms between them.  The two would spend time chatting inside the toilet looking out the window.  Little did they know that their friendship has gone deeper than ever before.  Upon Coh's return to the islands, they continued chatting over the internet.

Remy was seeing someone who offered to build a nice little cabin out in the country and maybe, a couple of horses to go with the dream.  And without further ado, Coh set out to start work on ASO CASA.  Road construction started in May of 1998 and was in full blast by September, disappearing totally from the computer without a word.  By January, 1999, she set out for Canada once again for the big surprise.

"How 'bout spending a lifetime in the islands with me and a pack of a hundred dogs?"

Oh, by the way, the old man next-door already passed away.

Fellow dog lovers (& divers!) are always welcome in our homes!
