2. Better yet, invite them all to your house for the holidays. Your parents
worked themselves to a bone to make Christmas a magical time when you
were young; now it's your turn. If you're worried that both sides
of the family won't get along, perhaps they just need to spend more
time together. After all, being family means leaarning to work through conflict.
3.Plan to complete at least 50 special "family times" with your children.
Two suggestions: Build a library of your favorite 25 Christmas
movies, and watch them all between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Also,
devote a couple of weekends to viewing any large Christmas displays
within 200 miles of your home.
2.Don't worry about gaing weight. Worrying will only make you depressed--and
you know what they say about the suicide rate going up during the holidays.
Remember that December calories can all disappear in a January diet.
And if you don't lose any weight in January, you know you can do it
any time in the future whenever you finally decide to put your mind to it. Right?
