They also raised the children of John Oldham of IN who died at an early age in accident in IN, he was (m) to a younger sister of Geo.Albert Holcomb (cousins). She moved to KS and died there leaving at least 4 raised by Holcomb.

Have gotten back to Edward OLDHAM (1766-1795) King George Co VA and there I am stuck. 01 May 1791 he married Sarah DISHMAN King George Co, dau of Samuel DISHMAN and Polly DEGGES. They had two sons, Samuel & Edward. We are descended from Samuel, physician, who married Cornelia HONYMAN dau of Dr. Robert HONYMAN. Dr. Samuel and Cornelia, with their sons, Algernon, Robert, James and Samuel, removed from VA to Lauderdale Co TN circa 1827 to build Eylau Farms. The only other thing I know about Edward (1866-1795) is that he was a member of the vestry of Hanover Church, King George Co VA. Will share information. Thank you.

John Oldham of NC, moved to AL before 1857. After the Civil War, his family joined a wagon train headed west. They left the group to bury a relative in Carroll Parish, LA, and settled there. Any information on John Oldham, his spouse or children would be much appreciated! John's children include Margaret Jane (b. 1847, NC), Mary (b. 1852, NC), Malcolm (b. 1855, NC), George (b. 1857, AL) and Robert (b. 1859, AL). The Oldham Family

I am looking for information about John Oldham who married Betty Brimm and had son Samuel Oldham b 4/1/1886 d 4/5/1956. Samuel is buried in Hartsville Tn (trousdale county) and has descendents there today. Any help would be appreciated! thanks

I am looking for information for Thomas Oldham. He was born in Tennessee around 1803. He married Sarah McKinney and she was born around 1806. They had their first child, Ruthie Jane, in Lauderdale County Alabama in 1826.
