Why do I believe this, I belief that everyone has to believe and hope for something. Even a atheist, who doesn't parsay believe in a god, with that statement. I ask then what do they believe got us here? To their explaination, what ever it is evolution, chance, accident, etc. , I have to say "there is your god." That is what they believe in above and beyond that which is reality or fact to them. So above and beyond this reality that we can concieve as actual fact, I believe that there is a higher power that put us here for a purpose. Which involves that power volunteeringly coming to live among us, as us. Not to just soothe our wounds and woes, But to show us that he to has suffered just like us. Because there is a kinship a "Botherhood" between those that suffer together, then surive and support each other through the ordeal. God did that through Christ, then he went a step further, because of our nature to wander and sin we had fallen away from God and died to God. Christ became that only perfect sacrifice to sanctify us and provide a way to come back into God's company. This is why as the bible says there in no greater gift than for a Man to lay down his life for a friend. |
