Here, Let me show just a few of the wonderful sites I visited in lovely San Diego!
I had a blast and one of the first things I did was go on a harbor tour of San Diego Bay. I highly recommend it to any visitor.
The captain was retiring from this cruise line and our trip was a bit special because of that, but he probably tells all the tourists that.
There were many naval vessels we were able to get up close and personal with. This particular cruiser(?) sent some missiles special delivery that got up close and personal to our favorite despot, Saddam Hussein. That good sized sailboat gives one a good perspective of the size of our nations fighting vessels.
This and the following pictures were taken at the San Diego Wild Animal park. Another mandatory stop on the tour of the San Diego area.
This couple were friendly hosts to visitors.
A quiz for the young at heart: How many moutain dwelling creatures can you spot in the above photo? My friend Stephen and I found 13, the exhibit has 75 residents!
San Diego or Africa, having never been to Africa, it is hard to tell the difference at first glance. The animals here enjoy wide open enclosures with thousands of acres of leg room.
Even a few clouds cannot diminish the beauty of this La Jolla sunset
