Susan Margaret Chapin and Daniel John Sargis were married Oct. 10 at First United Methodist Church in Modesto, where that are establishing a home.

Kathy Fahey and Paul Sargis, both of Modesto, were honor attendants.

The bride is the daughter of Melvin and Gladys Chapin of Stockton.  She graduated from Tokay High School, attended Delta College and is a mortgage loan underwriter.

Her husband is the son of Samuel and Celia Sargis of Modesto.  He graduated from Beyer High School in Modesto and California State University, Chico, and is a senior programmer analyst for Modesto Irrigation District.

Susan Margaret Chapin of Modesto, daughter of Melvin and Gladys Chapin of Stockton, and Daniel John Sargis of Modesto, son of Samuel and Celia Sargis of Modesto, were married in Modesto's First United Methodist Church.

Kathey Fahey was the bride's matron of honor, and Annette O'Sullivan, Michele Cline and Erin Seeba were bridesmaids.

Paul Sargis was his brother's best man , and Gary Huff, Jeff Walton and Jim Linaberry ushered.

Stephanie Cline was flower girl and Michael Wright, ring bearer.

The bride graduated from Tokay High School.  The bridegroom is a graduate of Beyer High School and Chico State University and is a senior programmer analyst for the Modesto Irrigation District.

The couple will live in Modesto after a Jamaica honeymoon.
