This Will be our Last Goodbye

Verse one
Sitting by my loved one, as he told me goodbye
For the Lord was calling him, from God's throne room in the sky
A look of peace upon his face, as heaven shined through his eyes
Said we'll meet again in glory, this will be our last goodbye
Chorus
This will be our last goodbye, I'll wait for you on streets of gold
Marching around the throne of God, all of heaven I'll behold
There will come a blessed day, and on this you can rely
We'll have a grand homecoming, This will be our last goodbye
Verse Two
Brushing tears from his face, as he looked in my eyes
Angels came to carry him, to his mansion in the sky
I could hear all heaven rejoicing, singing praise to God on high
Passing through the gates of heaven, this will be our last goodbye
Bridge
Millions join in harmony, singing redemption's song
Gathered around the crystal sea, I can't wait to sing along for this will be our last goodbye

If I could Speak to you today, If we could sit and talk for a while,
If we could laugh and share a smile, If I could speak to you today,
And share with you what I'd like to say, I'd say, Praise God I'm free of pain.
My body is whole, and I'm well again. There is no sorrow. There are no tears.
There is no hurting. There are no fears. I'm with our God and I'm free at last.
Think of me now~~not my pain of the past. Please understand God will comfort you.
He'll ease your pain. He'll see you through. He'll walk with you each step of the way.
He'll guide and comfort you every day. He knows and understands your loss.
He, too, suffered from that death on the cross. Call on Him.
He is your Friend, And be comforted in knowing we'll meet again.
